Hire the club
Looking for something different for a birthday, work team or catch-up? Spend an afternoon on our lawns. Our members will teach your group the game, so no one needs any experience.
At a glance
Price: $25 per person for 4 hours, including set-up and pack-up
Deposit: $50, non-refundable, to confirm your booking
Group size: up to 30 guests, with 16 playing at a time on two lawns
Coaching: at least two club coaches on hand
Age: players 12 and over; younger children welcome with an adult
Longer events: extra charges apply
If you need to cancel, we'll hold your deposit for another booking by your group within 12 months. The deposit comes off your final bill.
What's included
Use of both lawns, club mallets and balls.
Clubhouse with tables, chairs, some crockery, a fridge, a microwave and hot water.
One toilet.
Please bring
Your own food and drinks (there are shops nearby on Plumer Road).
Flat-soled shoes for everyone playing.
House rules
Flat-soled shoes only on the lawns.
No alcohol on the lawns.
Leave the clubhouse and lawns clean and tidy, and take all rubbish with you.
Breakages and damage are charged to the event organiser.
Hire is for croquet events only; the clubhouse isn't available on its own.
Getting here
Enter from O'Sullivan Road, inside Woollahra Golf Club and next to Easts Rugby Club. There's limited parking on site and on the street. By bus, the 324 and 325 run from the city and Edgecliff Station to near Rose Bay Ferry Wharf, and the 326 stops on Plumer Road. Both are a short walk away.
